Our firm provides services for businesses in a full range of transactions, including business formations and incorporations, corporate guidance, contracts, employment agreements, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, venture capital investments, and securities offerings. Our attorneys in this field are Kevin J. Loechl, Mark P. Miller, and Troy G. Woollen.

Kevin J. Loechl concentrates in corporate and securities practice. He formerly practiced with Baker & McKenzie in Chicago, the largest law firm in the world.   He is a member of the Section on Business Law, and of the Committee on Banking Law, of the American Bar Association.

Troy G. Woolen also concentrates in corporate practice.  His law degree is from the nation's top taxation program, New York University School of Law.

Mark P. Miller also practices in the corporate area.  He published "Trade Related  Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights" in Notre Dame Law Review.

Wendell R. Bird has published corporate articles in Practical Tax Lawyer, Journal of Multistate Taxation, Journal of Asset Protection and other publications listed below, and he is an active member of the American Bar Association Section on Taxation.

Russell P. Reach (1960 - 2007), of counsel to the firm, concentrated in securities law and corporate law.  He formerly was with Porter and Clements in Houston, where he focused on securities law.
